Hyderabad, September 14, 2013: PBEL City Hyderabad in its effort to cultivate community bonding and promoting vibrant living today hosted “Swarathma”, a renowned folk rock fusion music band at PBEL City grounds. This special live concert was a part of 2nd edition of Hydourite2013, an initiative celebrating the spirit of Hyderabad with ‘100 days of celebrations’

The band “ Swarathma ” is known for its visually electric and high-energy live acts and comprises of Vasu Dixit (vocals and rhythm guitar), Pavan Kumar KJ (percussion and backing vocals), Varun Murali (lead guitar), Sanjeev Nayak (violin) and Jishnu Dasgupta (bass guitar and backing vocals). They performed at the stunning PBEL City grounds energizing the atmosphere with some of their popular numbers like Yesu, Allah aur Krishna, Jamba, Jaana Kahan Hai Mujhe, Naane Daari, Barsenge, Pyaasi, Pyar ke rang, etc. The band used their trademark and innovative music rooted in the Indian folk traditions while drawing on rock, blues and reggae motifs. Thundering drums, stunning guitar riffs and powerful singing brought the crowd to their feet. The band had the audience screaming, dancing and asking for more.Swarathma1
